First impressions from my bachlor project, which is a illustrated book about star constellations

These are Cepheus, king of Ethiopia, his wife Kassiopeia and their daughter Andromeda who should have been sacrificed to the sea monster Cetus so the kingdom would be save. Unluckily for the sea monster, Perseus came and saved the day, after making sure he'd get the pretty, scantily clad girl in the end.

The king and the queen ran their circle around the northern polestar every night. They can be seen all year round in the northern hemisphere, depending on the weather conditions. And especially Kassiopeia is easy to find with her bright stars forming a w or m.

Furthermore a few sketches…
